MSSQL Migration MYSQL (1 reply)

Hello,

I've been given the task of migrating a large (2TB) MSSQL database to MYSQL, I am total newbie to MYSQL so I was looking for some general tips and advice on how to quickly as possible migrate the the data.

I am using the work bench and the database migration wizzard tool, what settings on the MYSQL side should I be looking to tweek in terms of meory settigns and how do I quickly disable all the indexes on the tables, I assume as per MSSQL this will speed the inserts up.
