it is possible to connect MS-Access to mysql. Normally that is done by using the ODBC-connector.
Unfortunately this requires installation of the connector. In our case this would have to be done by many inexperienced users who normally don't have administrative rights.
So the idea was that there might be a software that can be installed on the mysql-server so that it looks like a MS-SQL-Server to the outside world. That way the clients could simply use the ODBC-connector vor MS-SQL which is already installed on every computer with windows.
Is there such a software/connector/tool ?
