We've a new database running MY SQL 5.0.
Imported several hundred entries, deleted them, reimported and scrapped them again. Now thelatest import appears to do what we want.
Response time accessing via the phpMyAdmin panel is now extremely slow. Access has a compact & repair option: anything similar in Myn SQL?
I backed up the database before playing with it so could revert to original but sometime in the future, the problem will no doubt arise again.
